How to use your cream cheek palette.

Start with the bronzer.
To achieve the perfect cream bronzer-induced glow, where you apply matters. The key is hitting all the points where the sun naturally highlights the face, such as the temples, cheeks and nose. For the temples, applying the cream bronzer moving up in a C-like formation around the eyes. It's important to tread lightly and not overdo it, as you want the skin to have a natural sun-kissed appearance. When applying a cream bronzer to the nose, layer a powder bronzer towards the tip to bring down any excess shine.

Follow with the blush.

Pros of applying cream blush with your fingers:

Easier on the go: If you’re out and about, you don't necessarily want to be carrying a full makeup bag. It’s in these scenarios that the option to apply your blush with your fingers really comes in handy.

A seamless finish: As our fingers are naturally warmer, the blush will heat a little too, making it even easier to blend seamlessly into your skin.

Sheer application: A brush will pick up more pigment than your fingers. So, for a barely-there wash of colour, fingers are the best choice.

Better for dry skin: “If someone’s skin is dry or dehydrated, then working a product in with your fingers is great as you know it’s not going to go anywhere.

Pros of applying cream blusher with a brush.

Beginners may want to start with brushes.

More coverage: You get more coverage with a brush, as it picks up more colour.

A polished finish: How precise and perfect you want your blush to look depends on factors such as time of day and preference. A brush will just give you that slightly more polished look.

Better for oily skin: If your complexion is really oily then you may find that applying with fingers may cause your base to slide off, in this instance, try using a brush to place the product there, instead of rubbing it in.

Step 1
First things first, suss out where to apply blush. As a rough guide, start your blush at the point where the bottom of your nose would be in line with your pupil. Creating an L shape with your hand can help you to locate this.

Step 2
From here, dab cream blush onto your cheeks in three dots, working upwards at an angle. This positioning will lift your face, making your features look elevated. It’s much more flattering than the age-old trick of applying blush when smiling, which can have the opposite effect.

Step 3
If you’re using your fingers, use a different, clean finger to the one you used to stamp the colour on and buff and blend upwards. If you’re using a brush, swirl the product into the skin, following the same upward motion.

Finalize with the highlighter:

Applying a cream highlighter is an easy way to illuminate the look of your skin, creating a glossy, supermodel sheen with a soft-focus finish in an instant.
When using a glistening cream product that is hydrating and moisturizing, it usually gives a healthy and youthful glow, attracting light in a natural way. Cream highlighters also tend to last longer, since a small amount of product can go a long way.
Start using your fingers and place a dot right at the top of the cheekbones tap going upwards without gliding it, just tapping lightly with your fingers. Use on the high points of your cheekbones, the bridge of the nose, the bow of the lip and along the inner corners of the eye, hugging the tear duct and the brow bone. After applying the product, use your ring finger to press it into the skin, so it blends seamlessly and warms up to the face.
